Isolated strong to severe storms today, Severe weather returns late Sunday/Monday

Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 60 and it feels like 60. Highs will continue to range between 53 and 76 with lows between 28 and 56. There is a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms today. Few storms could be strong to severe with large hail and gusty winds. Severe weather threat returns late Sunday into Monday. Large hail and damaging winds will be the main threats. An isolated tornado or two cannot be ruled out. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 60 and it feels like 60. Todays high is 68 and a low of 53 with a 30% chance of scattered thunderstorms. Sundays high is 73 with a 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms.

Now, for your Winter/Severe Weather Update for the Southeast Region. There is severe weather potential with a system around the 10-11th of December. Could possibly be severe weather potential around the 14th-15th of December and again around the 21st-23rd.
