Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 41 and it feels like 41. Highs will continue to range between 52 and 73 with lows between 33 and 56. There is no rain in the forecast over the next few days, but there is the potential for heavy rainfall/severe weather next Monday. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 42 and it feels like 38. Todays high is 57 with a low of 33. Thursdays high is 62.

Now, for your tropical update. In the Atlantic and Eastern Pacific, all is quiet with no development expected over the next couple of days. There is a Nor easter headed up the East Coast today into Thursday. Main threats will be heavy rain, high winds, coastal flooding, rough seas, and snow possibilities. High Wind Warnings and Coastal Flood Warnings are in effect for the New Jersey Coastline. This will not be anything like we saw with Sandy, but it will cause more damage to areas that were hit hard by Sandy.

Hope yall are having a great Wednesday and I'll have another post tomorrow morning.

Thanks Johnny, actually it has turned into a rather unexpected total snow event for me in Sw CT. It has been all snow! This is because the storm wound up going a little further East than thought, even forecasts earlier in the day did not see this. By going further East, it put us in NNE to N winds, which has brought in colder temps. But one good thing, by being a little further east, the winds have NOT been as strong(at least so far) as they thought. 15-25mph. with some higher gusts--again at least for me. Also, the Barometer has bottomed out at 29.83" It has been steady for 2 hours now. Sandy's lowest pressure for me was 28.68". This is not even close!
