Now, for your tropical update. In the Atlantic, all is quiet. Tropical Storm Oscar dissipated yesterday. In the Eastern Pacific, showers and thunderstorms associated with a low pressure area centered about 850 miles Southwest of the Southern Tip of Baja California have increased this morning. Although a surface circulation has not developed yet, there is potential for a tropical depression to form later today or Sunday. The National Hurricane Center is giving this system a high chance, 70%, of becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours as it moves West-Northwestward at about 15mph.
