Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 57 and it feels like 57. Highs will continue to range between 65 and 86 with lows between 43 and 57. There is a 30% chance of AM showers today. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 59 and it feels like 59. Todays high is 72 and a low of 49 with a 30% chance of AM showers. Wednesdays high is 78 with a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms.

Now, for your tropical update. In the Atlantic, Tropical Storm Nadine is weakening. Winds are at 65mph with a pressure of 995mbars. Movement is East-Southeast at 7mph. Is not a threat to land. Also, in the Atlantic, thunderstorm activity associated with a large low pressure system located about 800 miles West-Southwest of the Cape-Verde Islands has changed little in organization over the past few hours. However, environmental conditions are expected to be conducive for development of a tropical depression over the next couple of days. The National Hurricane Center is giving this system a high chance, 60%, of becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours as it moves West-Northwestward at 10-15mph.

Hope yall are having a great Tuesday and I'll have another post tomorrow morning.
