Heavy rain today/Monday, Eastern Pacific quiet, and tracking Nadine

Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 63 and it feels like 63. Highs will continue to range between 69 and 85 with lows between 49 and 63. There is a 90% chance of rain today, a 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms tomorrow, and a 40% chance of showers on Tuesday. Rainfall amounts of 2-4 inches are likely with locally higher amounts possible. Few storms could be strong to severe with gusty winds up to 60mph and an isolated tornado or two. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 63 and it feels like 63. Todays high is 68 and a low of 60 with a 90% chance of rain. Mondays high is 68 with a 60% chance of AM thundershowers.

Now, for your tropical update. In the Atlantic, Hurricane Nadine is still out there and does not want to go away. Winds are at 90mph with a pressure of 979mbars. Movement is North-Northwest at 12mph. Is not a threat to land.
