Good morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 49 and it feels like 49. Highs will continue to range between 77 and 88 with lows between 48 and 62. No rain over the next couple of days. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 55 and it feels like 55. Todays high is 85 with a low of 60. Saturdays high is 85.

Now, for your tropical update. In the Atlantic, we have Tropical Storm Nadine. Nadine has winds of 65mph with a pressure of 981mbars. Movement is Southeast at 8mph. Nadine is located near the Azores. Also, in the Atlantic, shower and thunderstorm activity associated with a non-tropical low pressure system located about 475 miles East of Bermuda has changed little in organization during the past several hours. Conditions appear favorable for gradual development before upper-level winds become less conducive on Saturday. The National Hurricane Center is giving this system a high chance, 60%, of becoming a subtropical cyclone during the next 48 hours as it moves West-Northwestward at about 10mph. In the Eastern Pacific, shower and thunderstorm activity is gradually becoming better organized in association with an area of low pressure located about 375 miles Southwest of Acapulco, Mexico. Environmental conditions are conducive for a tropical depression to form during the next couple of days. The National Hurricane Center is giving this system a medium chance, 50%, of becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours as it moves Westward to West-Northwestward at 5 to 10mph.

Hope yall are having a great Friday and I'll have another post tomorrow.
