Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 77 and it feels like 77. Highs will continue to range between 85 and 93 with lows between 64 and 72. There is a 100% chance of thunderstorms today. After Friday, there will be a chance of rain in the forecast each day. Main threats from Isaac will be heavy rain, flash flooding/flooding, high winds, and isolated tornadoes. Rainfall amounts of 2-4 inches will be likely with isolated amounts of 4+ inches possible. Winds will be 15-25mph with gusts to near 35mph. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 78, but it feels like 81. Now, for your tropical update. Over Northern Louisiana/Southern Arkansas, we have Tropical Depression Isaac. Winds are at 35mph with a pressure of 995mbars. Movement is North-Northwest at 12mph. Also, in the Eastern Pacific, a large area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms are located a few hundred miles South of Southern Mexico.
