Now, for your tropical update. In the Atlantic, Tropical Depression Debby made landfall late yesterday afternoon in Florida. Winds are down to 35mph with a pressure of 998mbars. Movement is East-Northeast at 10mph. Path of Debby takes it over Florida and out into the open Atlantic. Eastern Pacific remains quiet. Main impacts from Debby will be heavy rain and flash flooding. Also out in the Atlantic, a westward moving tropical wave that is located halfway between the west coast of Africa and the Lesser Antilles is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Any development of this system should be slow to occur as it moves Westward at 10-15mph. The National Hurricane Center is giving this system a low chance, 10%, of becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.
Hope yall are having a great Wednesday and I'll have another post tomorrow morning. Continue to pray for the tornado victims and those affected by damaging weather events.
