Now, for your tropical update. In the Atlantic, all is quiet. In the Eastern Pacific, we now have Tropical Storm Carlotta. Winds are at 40mph with a pressure of 1003mbars. Movement is Northwest at 10mph. Carlotta is expected intensify and make landfall in Mexico at 11pm Friday night as a hurricane. A Hurricane Watch is in effect from Punta Maldonado, Mexico to Barra De Tonala, Mexico. The other area that had a possibility for development has a very low chance, 0%, now of becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.
