Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 63 and it feels like 63. Highs will continue to range between 74 and 89 with lows between 50 and 65. Winds will be out of the South today at 15-25mph with higher gusts. There is a 50% chance of scattered thunderstorms and a 40% chance of showers on Tuesday. A few storms could be strong to severe on Monday with the main threats being large hail and damaging winds. Isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out. Rainfall amounts between 1-3 inches are possible with locally 3+ inches. Flash flooding is also possible. There is also a 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms next Saturday and a 60% chance of scattered thunderstorms next Sunday. Severe weather could again be a possibility across the South. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 64 and it feels like 64. Todays high is 84 with winds out of the South at 20-30mph with higher gusts. Tonights low is 66 with a 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms. Mondays high is 77 with a 50% chance of scattered thunderstorms.
