Sunshine/warm temperatures today, rain returns Monday into Tuesday

Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 57 and it feels like 57. Highs will continue to range between 70 and 82 with lows between 45 and 61. There is a 60% chance of scattered thunderstorms on Monday and a 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms on Tuesday. Rainfall amounts between 1-3 inches is expected with isolated amounts greater than 3 inches on Monday. Flash flooding will be a possibility. A few storms could be strong to severe also on Monday. Main threats will be hail up to the size of nickels and damaging winds up to 50mph. However, an isolated tornado or two cannot be ruled out. There is a 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms on both Thursday and Friday. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 54 and it feels like 54. Todays high is 68 with a low of 47. Sundays high is 66 and cloudy. Hope yall are having a great Saturday and I'll have another post tomorrow.
