Warming up; severe weather outbreak Tuesday/Wednesday and Friday

Good Morning! At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 48 and it feels like 48. Highs will continue to range between 63 and 74 with lows between 40 and 61. There is a 40% chance of scattered thunderstorms on Tuesday. A few storms could be strong to severe with the main threats being large hail and damaging winds with isolated tornadoes possible. Secondary threats will be heavy rain and flash flooding. Most of the severe weather on Tuesday will be off the our west in Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas. There is a 70% chance of strong storms on Wednesday. Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama will all be under the gun for severe weather on Wednesday. Main threat will be damaging winds, although there could be some hail. Isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out. On Friday, there is a 70% chance of strong storms. Main threats for Friday are large hail, damaging winds, isolated tornadoes. Secondary threats will be heavy rain and flash flooding. Both these severe weather outbreaks this week could be significant. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 51 and it feels like 51. Todays high is 68. Tonights low is 50 with a 30% chance of showers late. Tuesdays high is 67 with a 40% chance of scattered thunderstorms. Hope yall are having a good Monday and I'll have another post tomorrow morning.
