Rainy this morning; severe weather potential Saturday

At Smithville, MS, the current temperature is 61 and it feels like 61. Highs will continue to range between 57 and 71 with lows between 34 and 56. There is a 70% chance of am showers today. All rain should be moved out by around 12 or so this afternoon. A few storms could be strong with the threats of small hail and gusty winds. There is a 50% chance of showers on Friday. On Saturday, there is a 60% chance of scattered thunderstorms. Severe weather is a possibility. Threats will be large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes. At the Regional Rehab Center in Tupelo, MS, the current temperature is 61 and it feels like 61. Todays high is 70 and a low of 51 with a 70% chance of scattered thunderstorms. Thursdays high is 69.
