And Always take the Appropriate Action to keep yourself, and Family and Pets Safe when Severe Weather conditions warrant.

Sedgwick Kansas Tornado (

This photo was taken just north of the town of Sedgwick, Kansas near CR811 (Ridge Rd) CR-584 (SW 84th St.) There is a home located to the left of the red barn in the photo. When I returned the next day to give a copy of the photo to the owner, I come to find out that she was on her porch looking toward my direction and never saw the tornado pass just behind her home. Captured this image just North West of Taos, NM. I hear the storm coming, drove out and set up for a long shutter. There was no rain falling and I stayed as the system came directly overhead.
Captured from the deck outside my workroom on May 9th 2004 in Minnetonka, Minnesota. This cloud looked heavy with water and menacingly close. The air was around me was thick with humidity and the ozone from the lightning was strong on my nostrils.

This streamer from a lightning strike warmed my hands! The photo was not edited or manipulated in any way. It is a still shot taken from a video that I took.
Watching a lightining storm by Old Route 66 and I-44. The storm went on for hours and hardly moved. It was amazing to watch.
