Invaded by Bees

A few weeks ago I heard a buzzing in my walls and went outside to investigate and this is what I found A hole in my wall and bees going in and out of the hole.

I didn't know what to do and talked to Spathy about it. He has a co worker that her and her hubby collect bees so he came over and looked into the matter. He found out that I have a BIG BIG hive in my wall and most likely about 20 pounds of honey in the walls. The Bee collector thinks there could be as many as 10,000 or more in the hive.

ANY ONE WANT SOME HONEY

He came over today and started to set up the bee hives to get the bees in there. It will take about a week to get them all in the box if he can get the Queen in the box.

Needless to say the outside of the walls have to come down to get the honey in there out or I will have ants all over the house.

Jamie!!!

I noticed that it was your birthday on Sunday, Nov. 13th and am sorry I wasn't around to post HAPPY BIRTHDAY WISHES! Lately, ailing aged relatives on both my husband's and my side of the family, have kept me very occupied, so I haven't been able to post much on WU.

Nevertheless, if you happen to log on and see this, please know ....

Hope that dangerous beehive situation is now a thing of the past with no more buzzing going on except in your sleep. BEST WISHES!

Skyepony thanks for stopping or Buzzing by HE HE HE

masshysteria I did hear buzzing but crazy me I though it was a fly in the room for 2 months till I walked on that side of the house and saw what I saw. I am gonna loose the wall but better the wall than the whole house and LOVE THE VID

BriarCraft thanks for the cute comments no not bad karma just interesting life to teach me how to do thinks on the house and a new way to remodel. Remember I am working on 3 houses all at the same time. Spathys and his mothers and mine so I am getting confused on what house needs what done to it. Soon I may take down Spathys wall instead of mine plaster my bathroom instead of Spathys moms and build her a new shower instead of mine. He he he I am getting so confused and forgetting what house I have what tools at.

Todd .......... Thanks

Oh my. Bees. Oh my! Bees! O-o-o-h MY! BEEEEEEES!

Mr. Jamiekins, you seem to be suffering from that most dreaded of curses, "May you live in interesting times." First the bad owie with the pruning snips. Now this. What next?

Bad kharma? Maybe an exorcism? I know, I know...! A feng shui consultant will make everything all better.

Then again, think of all the money-making opportunities. You could learn to make beeswax candles and sell them on the interwebs. Or you could see honeycomb in your neighborhood to help pay for the home repairs. Burt had a problem with bees once, and now there's a whole line Burt's Bees skin care products Gosh, the possibilities are, well, possibilities.

Seriously though, I hope the bees go bye-bye soon and that the damage to your home isn't too severe or expensive to repair.

Hi Jamie!

Wow, talk about a modern-day Alfred Hitchcock movie to be made! Glad you've connected with a trained beekeeper to help rid you of this serious problem! I'm surprised you didn't hear any buzzing sounds going on in your ears while indoors for the past few months. This would totally gross me out!

My hubby and I had a slightly less, but serious, problem with a large hornets nest under our Florida room several years ago and had to hire a professional exterminator. Initially, my hubby foolishly tried to do it himself and we ended up with some of them infiltrating inside our home to those rooms closest to the Florida room. ARGH!

Scary moments, especially, when I'm allergic to most stinging insects. Thankfully, we haven't had any problems since then and hope that will be the case for you once all is said and done.

................................................. ......

Hope all is resolved soon and that you're slightly amputated finger is continuing to heal nicely from that serious incident a couple months ago! You've had a lot to contend with lately!
