On-board property security

Recently a portable fuel tank (full of fuel) was stolen from one of our members small Whalers. No need to feel that security in the IBYC mooring field is an issue, as these types of occurrences are very rare. The last incident I can remember is a fishing rod being taken from a boat, and that was three seasons ago. However, just to be safe, consider a lock for your fuel tank, and when you are done boating for the day stow valuables such as fishing gear and electronics (handhelds, gps, etc.) out of site.

Happy Boating!
