Crunchy grass as Buddy and I went out to feed Travis. Hungry Horse Weather Station showing 29 F this morning. Just a few high clouds. Georgie and I took out the garden yesterday, leaving in chard, sprouts and leeks.

Hot and relatively low dewpoints, but we're all still wilted. First sweet corn of the season tonight.

Was able to see Venus in the southwestern sky this afternoon about 4:45, well before sunset. Needed to get in the shade of a building, but spotted it easily - a bright pinprick of light in a blue winter sky. Needless to say, night time views are spectacular.

Broken clouds this morning with a balmy 42 degrees. Barometer hit a low of 986 mb at 3:29 this morning and is now rising rapidly. Strong gusty winds in the wake of the passage of this low.
