Update 07-20-06 As I type the power remains out in St.louis and a large portion of the area surrounding it. Some power may not be on for 9-10 days. The storm last night hit with hurricane force winds and uprooted and broke many large trees over the area, taking the power lines with them. The governor of Missouri has declared an emergency and the national guard will be responding to the area to help with restoring power and to take people water and suppies. East St. louis is under an 8pm curfew.
