Well, my Eskimold(little trademark thingy) was successful in most ways. The only failure was my failure to have another adult nut willing to stay out in the snow long enough to help me build the igloo. So higher and higher it went until my igloo/teepee/chimney stack was complete. All the other snowfreaks were trapped at their homes too. What an incredible winter I've had so far here in Northern Virginia. 83 inches of snow this season and counting.
Listen to me people, MORE SNOW IS ON THE WAY!
Enjoy the pictures. I have lots of video of the deranged igloo man, hopefully I'll be able to link to it. The poor man is sick.
ALL OF THESE PICTURES, EXCEPT OF THE IGLOO, WERE TAKEN BEFORE 15 MORE INCHES FELL ON FEBRUARY 9-10. UNBELIEVABLE
Me, lil' heavy and the snowteepee.
Yes it's got cable!
Lil' Heavy2 in kids playhouse. That snow has been packed down to get him in there.
Ahh, a nice sliding board.

"We hear the beating of wings over Bethlehem and a light that is not of the sun or of the stars shines in the midnight sky. Let the beauty of the story take away all narrowness, all thought of formal creeds. Let it be remembered as a story that has happened again and again, to men of many different races, that has been expressed through many religions, that has been called by many different names. Time and space and language lay no limitations upon human brotherhood."
~New York Times, 25 December 1937, quoted in Quotations for Special Occasions by Maud van Buren, 1938, published by The H.W. Wilson Company, New York
Bet you must be exhausted from all the snow forecasting and wrapping and making Christmas for the beauties. Is Pumpkin gone? What are the names of the two new ones? Poodles? Blonde and Blond?
May there always be work for your hands to do.
May your purse always hold a coin or two.
May the sun always shine upon your window pane.
May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near to you and
May God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.
Happy New Year 2011, Heavy!
So how is the igloo building going this year?
Yes huri, Pumpkin left us last January 31, in my arms. The two new girls, bigger this time, miniatures poodles instead of toys, are sisters from the same litter, Coco and Ginger.
It's their first New Year!
Happy New Year all! Be safe and happy tonight and throughout the year.
May 2011 bring happiness and good health to you all!
Here's hoping 2011 brings record snows to me and anyone else wishing for the same.

I waited and waited for you to come and clear my driveway but ended up doing it myself.
The snow is a bit dry to make an igloo but once it freezes you may be able to carve out blocks. Your welcome to all you want
Have a good day.
