Windy Night

The wind suddenly picked up and strong winds blew through the house. Today had been hot and dry with no significant wind. But I've learned that wind can come out of nowhere here and pick up rapidly.

Fall is in the air. All the leaves are withering and drying up on the snake gourd plant. The gourds themselves are going from spring green to yellow, then eventually to tan.

We've also had scorpions this year. Mostly little ones but one the size of a palm. I hope they go away when the weather gets colder. Happy fall everyone.
