Wisconsin Weather Update

Morning sunshine, then scattered storms. Warm again today, cooler tomorrow.
A small disturbance in the atmosphere is working its way across Wisconsin this morning. While it shouldn’t be significant enough to cause severe weather in the area, it may be annoying enough where a few scattered showers and storms develop this afternoon and evening because of it. Behind this disturbance and its mini-cold front, cooler air arrives tomorrow and Wednesday before heating up again this weekend.

Weather Map of the Day
This 9-panel temperature map shows cooler air coming in tomorrow and Wednesday, with much warmer temperatures possible this weekend, presuming there’s enough breaks in the rain to allow the surface to absorb all this energy.

Partly sunny and pleasant today. Storms develop late tomorrow and Wednesday.
Today and tomorrow are generally looking like pretty nice days in Wisconsin. Scattered showers associated with a small area of low pressure in northern Illinois are now affecting Michigan, Indiana, and other places east of here. As for here, along with the sun/cloud mix and warm temperatures generally comes with the isolated chance of late-afternoon or evening showers, but don’t swea...

Sunshine and pleasantly cool today, showers return late tomorrow.
A nice area of high pressure is centered in southern Manitoba, Canada this morning, and stretching through the western Great Lakes. Look for a nice day today with lots of sunshine and cool temperatures in the 60s. A new area of low pressure may bring rain back to Wisconsin by late tomorrow and linger through Wednesday.

Cloudy and cool today, maybe a rain shower. Warmer, somewhat humid with storms this week.
A nearly stationary area of low pressure currently in the central Rockies is going to be quite the annoyance this week. We will be cloudy and cool with isolated showers today ahead of a warm front that should start moving in tomorrow. Warm and somewhat humid air will move in by tomorrow evening as the warm front passes, along with scattered thunderstorms. We may get near ...

Scattered showers and thunderstorms through Wednesday. Slight risk of severe today and tomorrow.
A warm front is stretching across northern Wisconsin this morning, placing us under the “umbrella of warmth” ahead of a trailing cold front in the eastern Dakotas. Temperatures may reach the 80-degree mark today, but the brief sunshine will be smothered by clouds and scattered storms, which are expected to develop this afternoon and evening. The Storm Prediction...
