Good Monday morning!
After a somewhat settled-down weekend with only a few scattered thunderstorms across Wisconsin (some of which were severe in southern Wisconsin Saturday afternoon), we're going to settle into an even more settled weather pattern. Temperatures will be slightly cooler for the first half of the week courtesy of a cold front which passed through yesterday, but besides an outside shot at an isolated thunderstorm here and there, most of this week should remain dry. We'll warm up through the 70s in the second half of the work week and then into the 80s for what could be a great weekend of weather in Wisconsin.
Today’s Forecast Grade: B
Today: Partly sunny and cooler with just an outside shot at an isolated thundershower this afternoon or evening. High of 66 central, near 70 south. Chance of rain barely worth mentioning, around 15%.
Tonight: Variably cloudy, lows near 50.
Tomorrow: Partly sunny with another low-percentage chance at an afternoon or evening thundershower. Highs upper 60s central, lower 70s south. Chance of rain 20%.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy, highs 69-74.
Thursday: Partly sunny, a little warmer, and maybe a thundershower late. Highs 72-77. Chance of rain Thursday night 30%.
Friday: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs 73-78. Chance of rain 40%.
Saturday: Partly cloudy and warmer, highs 77-82.
Sunday: Partly cloudy and warm, highs 80-85.
Other City Forecasts:
Today and Tomorrow in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota: Partly cloudy, highs 70-75.
Today and Tomorrow in Evansville, Indiana: Scattered showers and thunderstorms through this afternoon, then partly cloudy. Highs mid- 80s today and upper 70s tomorrow.
Through 700 am...an isolated shower or thunderstorm chance exists mainly along and north of the Interstate 64 corridor...especially from around Mount Vernon Illinois...east to near Princeton and Winslow Indiana. A locally heavy shower may yield up to 1/4 inch rainfall.
Today and Tomorrow in League City and Pearland, Texas: Isolated thundershowers, otherwise partly cloudy, highs mid- 90s.
Today and Tomorrow in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina: Scattered afternoon thundershowers, highs upper 80s.
Today and Tomorrow in Las Vegas, Nevada: Sunshine, breezy and hot, highs around 107...in the shade.
