Waukesha has already reported 15" of new snow today as of 7pm this evening with the snow still coming down.
Here's the latest from the National Weather Service:
... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 10 PM CDT this
A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 10 PM CDT this
At 750 PM... National Weather Service Doppler radar continued to
indicate widespread moderate snow... with embedded pockets of heavy
snow... across much of southern Wisconsin. The back edge of this
large area of snow extended back toward La Crosse.
Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches can be expected...
mainly south of a line from Fond Du Lac to Port Washington.
North of this line... an additional 1 to 2 inches are expected.
Storm totals of 12 to 18 inches are expected around the Milwaukee
Metro area... with isolated higher amounts possible. Lesser totals
of 4 to 7 inches are expected near Sheboygan.
A Winter Storm Warning is issued when heavy snow is expected to
to cause major impacts to society. Travel will be dangerous and
is strongly discouraged. If you must travel... keep a winter
weather supply kit in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
