I swear the TV show actually had more than one popular answer for topic #1. Also for #1, six of you misspelled stethoscope, and the other answer was probably also meant to say stethoscope, but a stereoscope is a different object and thus does not get credit.

Players: 32
Topic #1: Name something a doctor carries in his bag when making a housecall

Stethoscope (31) - 2 points

Topic #2: Besides Michael, name a famous person whose last name is Jackson

Janet (15) - 2 points
Jesse (10) - 1 point

Todays Mood: Tired. Why does it take 3 hours to play out a simple Home Run Derby? Monday evening I started watching it, got kind of bored with it after Prince Fielder only got 3 home runs and didn't make the semifinals, turned something else on, then came back to ESPN a couple hours later and it was still going on. Sheesh! And last night's All Star game coverage started at 7pm and the game itself went until just after 11pm. It ended pretty familiarly with the National League losing yet again, as it has for every All Star game since 1996 (besides the goofy tie in Milwaukee in 2002). After that I tuned in to the Microsoft E3 press conference on G4 for a while, then finally went to bed after I realized they weren't going to announce the rumored price cut for the Xbox 360. Bummer.

Todays Holiday: National Cheer Up The Lonely Day

Todays Forecast Grade: B

Wisconsin Forecast:
Now: At 6am with sunshine, temps are in the lower 50s north, mid- 50s central and mid- to upper 50s south.

Synopsis: The strong low pressure system that produced a few severe thunderstorms across the state yesterday afternoon and the strong winds behind the front yesterday evening has moved off to our northeast. Behind the low pressure system is sunshine with lighter winds, but the low is expected to stall in east-central Canada, meaning wraparound moisture could swing back into Wisconsin and give us an isolated storm later today, tonight and tomorrow.

Today: Mostly sunny this morning with increasing clouds and isolated thundershowers this afternoon and evening, developing from the north. Cooler, highs near 70 north, 76 central, and upper 70s south. Chance of rain 35% north, 20% central, 15% south.

Tonight: Partly to mostly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows near 50 north, mid- to upper 50s central and south. Chance of rain 25%.

Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy and cooler with isolated thundershowers. Highs mid- 60s north, near 70 central, and low to mid- 70s south. Chance of rain 30%.

This Weekend:
Friday: Partly sunny, highs 70-75.
Saturday: Partly sunny and much warmer, highs 84-89.
Sunday: Partly cloudy, maybe a storm north, highs 85-90.

Today and Tomorrow in Las Vegas, Nevada: Scattered showers and thunderstorms today, sunshine tomorrow, highs near 105.
Flash Flood Watch in effect from 10 am PDT this morning through this evening...
* there is a potential for moderate to heavy rainfall in a short
period of time from slow moving thunderstorms that could lead
to localized flash flooding.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation
and persons in the watch area should be alert to the potential for
heavy rainfall and be prepared to take quick action and move to
higher ground.

Today and Tomorrow in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina: Scattered thunderstorms, hot, highs lower 90s.
Heat advisory in effect from noon today to 8 PM EDT this evening...
High temperatures across the area will reach the middle 90s away
from the immediate coast today. These temperatures combined with
dewpoints in the mid 70s are expected to result in heat index
values of around 105 degrees during much of the afternoon and
early evening hours today.

Closer to the shore... high temperatures will be in the 88 to
92 degree range while dewpoints will be in the upper 70s to
around 80 by the time the seabreeze develops. This combination
will also produce heat index values around 105 degrees for a
couple of hours this afternoon.

A heat advisory means that a period of hot temperatures is
expected. The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity
will combine to create a situation in which heat illnesses are
possible. Drink enough water to remain hydrated... stay in an air-
conditioned room... stay out of the sun... and check up on the very
Young... those that have illnesses and the elderly. If working or
participating in recreational activities outdoors... wear light-
weight clothing and wear a hat and sunscreen to protect yourself
from the sun.

Pets can also succumb to the effects of excessive heat. Ensure
pets have adequate fresh drinking water and a shady place to
rest. Do not keep pets in cars with the windows rolled up... even
partially. Temperatures inside cars can reach well over
150 degrees.
