Good Thursday morning!
Another brief week of games starts right now! Since most people got all three puzzles correct for Wheel of Fortune last week, this game will decide who makes it to the top of the initial summer point standings. Have fun!
Topic #1: Name a TV show you'd hate to spot your neighbor on
Topic #2: If you could live in any foreign country, what country would you choose
Today’s forecast grade: A
Now: At 7am with sunshine, temps are in the mid- to upper 50s.
Synopsis: Another great day of weather can be expected with a large area of high pressure slowly trekking across the country. Look for temperatures to be a few degrees warmer compared to yesterday as the wind direction slowly shifts to be from the southwest as this area of high pressure moves past us to the east.
Today: Mostly sunny and a little warmer today. High of 81 north, central and south. Three cheers for isotherms!
Tonight: Mostly clear, lows upper 50s.
Tomorrow: Mostly sunny, highs lower 80s.
Saturday: Partly sunny, maybe a thundershower late. Warm, highs 82-87. Chance of rain Saturday night 35%.
Sunday: Partly sunny, highs 79-84.
Next Week’s Outlook: It's hard to believe I'm talking about next week already, but next week looks fairly similar to this week. Maybe a late-afternoon summertime thunderstorm developing, but otherwise there aren't any major weather systems that look to affect us next week. Highs in the mid- to upper 70s to start the week but getting into the mid- 80s by midweek.
Today in Las Vegas, Nevada: Isolated thunderstorms, breezy, highs around 102.
Today in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina: Scattered showers and thunderstorms developing, highs upper 80s.
Today in League City and Pearland, Texas: Showers and thunderstorms, highs upper 80s.
Today in Evansville, Indiana: Sunshine, highs lower 80s.
