Bitter cold today. Light snow tonight. Heavier snow Wednesday.
Yesterday’s early morning high of 35 degrees is a thing of the past as significantly colder air has moved into the region yesterday and into today. It’s going to be bitter cold for a few days, with 20s not expected again until this Saturday. A few snow chances this week will annoy the forecast even further with 1” of light snow this evening, followed by a heavier snow starting New Year’s Eve night and lasting through Wednesday. Keep your shovels handy as we wrap up 2013 and head into the new year.
