Drizzly Friday, cloudy Saturday, sunny and warmer Sunday, “wet and mild” next week.
See what I did there? That’s “wet and mild” next week, not “wet and wild”, unfortunately, although our family is heading for an indoor waterpark, so the “wet and wild” forecast would be accurate in our case. An area of low pressure is centered in southwestern Wisconsin, and will keep the clouds, drizzle, and occasional rain showers in the area today. Our temperatures will stay in the 40s for most of the day as well, topping out just above 50. The rain should end by tonight as the low moves off to the east, although the clouds may linger through tomorrow. We should warm up quite a bit on Sunday as a strong southerly wind approaches ahead of our next weather system for Monday. Highs should break 60 Sunday, and could even get near 70 on Tuesday.
