Snow today, then windy and cold.
Getting sick of cold weather and snowy driving conditions yet? Well, unlike last March when we were basking in 70s and even 80s, grilling out and playing games at the park, this March we’re making up for it with sleds, hot chocolate and ice scrapers. Today, a quick Alberta Clipper-type storm is going to quickly arrive later this morning, then quickly get out of here this evening. During the late morning and afternoon though, Fox Valley residents can expect a quick 2-3” of snow before ending this evening. Southern Wisconsin will see slightly less snow, about 1-2”. Thankfully there’s no more snow in the forecast this week, other than some flurries.
Temperatures will remain below normal for yet another week, with temps barely getting to 20 by Wednesday! Surely the 10-day forecast has to warm us up though, right? There’s no way we get through the entire month of March without a mild stretch of weather? Yeah, you’d like to think so, but even next week looks colder than normal, so relief from the snow will probably have to wait until April! Punxsutawney Phil’s prediction of an early spring was a little off the mark. (surprisingly?)
