The top player this season will win a fabulous weather-related prize (if not a previous winner).
Please verify your point total for accuracy.

Becky T. doubled her lead to two points, we had two perfect weeks (Nia and Sheila) which brought them both above the cut line, and only four points separate first place from tenth! There are four more weeks until the regular season ends, including a double points week to kick off Advent, which means there's plenty of time for all this to change!

Forecast:
Now: At 7am with clouds north and central and some sunshine south, temps are mostly in the low to mid- 40s with a few spots in southern Wisconsin near 50.
Synopsis: A low pressure system is moving through Wisconsin this morning, bringing clouds and wind to most of the state (southern Wisconsin is seeing some sunshine but it's cloudy elsewhere). Behind the low and its associated cold front, look for colder air to pour in once again, along with a good chance of rain showers Saturday night.
Today: Partly sunny, breezy and becoming cooler, high of 54 central but still near 60 south.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy, maybe some drizzle but probably not, lows near 40. Rain chance 20%.
Saturday: Partly sunny with rain developing late in the day and continuing overnight, highs near 50 central, low to mid- 50s south. Rain chance Saturday night 70%.
Sunday: Morning rain showers, then becoming partly sunny, highs near 50. Sunday morning rain chance 30%.
Next Week:
Monday: Partly sunny, highs 54-58.
Tuesday: Scattered rain showers, highs 52-56. Rain chance 40%.
Wednesday: Morning showers, then partly sunny and colder, highs 48-52 and highs in the 40s for the rest of next week.
Today in Las Vegas, Nevada: Sunshine, highs mid- 70s today and low to mid- 70s this weekend.
... Record high minimum set at Las Vegas Thursday...
The low temperature Thursday November 3rd at McCarran International
Airport in Las Vegas was 60 degrees. This broke the previous record

Today in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina: Morning fog, then sunshine, highs mid- 70s through this weekend.
Areas of fog will affect southeast South Carolina and southeast Georgia the first part of this morning. Visibility in the fog will be reduced in some areas to near or less than 1/4 mile...making for difficulty when traveling. Motorists are urged to drive with extreme care. Allow for extra time to reach your destination...using only low beam headlights or fog lights in areas of fog. Conditions are expected to improve by 9 am across the region.

Golf: PGA Tour tees up ‘playoffs’ to boost its flagging finale
The US PGA Tour unveiled the outline for a radical overhaul of its calendar yesterday, including a shorter season and some badly needed credibility for the season-ending Tour Championship.
Starting in 2007, the calendar will be centered round the FedEx Cup, a points-based competition leading into a late-summer playoff, and culminate with the Tour Championship in September. The season finale could offer a purse of US$10 million ($14.5 million).
