TGIF!
So last night, in one of our last evenings of freedom, we went to Waterfest in Oshkosh with our friends Jason and Nicole to go see the swing band Big Bad Voodoo Daddy play. They put on an outstanding show, we were really close to the stage so we had a great view of the band, and we had a great time.
Also - why should Lisa have all the fun? My coworkers threw me a surprise baby shower yesterday over the lunch hour, so I also got to experience the joy of opening all sorts of good baby stuff, and of course the customary gag gifts. Many of you are on this list, and I wanted to publicly say thanks for everything. You guys were really generous and it was much appreciated!
Now let's get on with the game results...

Winter/Spring 2005 Point Standings (31 people played this double points week)
The top three players this season will receive prizes!
This season will run from January 4 until whenever our baby is born (expected date is June 25).
If you would like your city/state listed next to your name, send me an email with the information!
Please verify your point total for accuracy.
After the last double points week of the season, it looks like Nia's going to take the crown, barring some unusual chain of events occurring. She's the first person to break the 200 barrier! Jordan and Karl, who got 2nd and 3rd place last season, are tied this season for the same positions. Nobody got all 24 possible points, but Max was a can of shaving cream away from getting the perfect score. Speaking of the perfect score, if you did manage to get every possible point correct all season, you'd have right around 300 points.
Are these the final standings, or do we still have another couple weeks to go? Only Baby Hale will decide that!

Wind Advisory in effect until 8 PM PDT this evening...
The National Weather Service in Las Vegas, NV has issued a Wind
Advisory.
A strong low pressure system near the southern Oregon coast will
cause strong southwest winds over the region through this evening.
Sustained winds will range from 20 to 35 mph with gusts from 40 to 45
mph. Winds are expected to decrease somewhat by about 8 PM.
With high winds expected in southern Nevada... Clark County air
quality officials are advising residents and operators of local
construction sites of the possibility for blowing dust during this
Wind Advisory. High wind conditions may also contribute to a build up
of ground level ozone. Air quality officials will continue to monitor
the situation. If unhealthy levels of dust or ozone occur... an alert
