At 4:00 PM PhSt, Typhoon Lawin (Jelawat) [967 hPa] located at 12.3°N 128.7°E or 390 km east of Catarman, Northern Samar has 10 minute sustained winds of 75 knots with gusts of 90 knots. The cyclone is reported as moving north northwest at 4 knots.
