At 4:00 AM PhST, Tropical Storm Ambo (Mawar) was located at 18.2°N, 124.7°E or 290 km east of Aparri, Cagayan has 10 minute sustained winds of 55 knots with gust of 70 knots. The cyclone is reported as moving north northeast slowly.
