Nadine in now in it's 200th year. Now regarded as the longest living storm (reports that Karen is actually a naked swirl off the coast of Tazmania is just a rumor). The only surviving person who remembers the formation of Nadine in 2012 is 800 year old Grothar.
He belonged to what was then called a "weather Blog". While now living in Sunnyvale Rest Home, he fondly share his memories of his fellow bloggers. Mostly he just repeats, "I saw it first", but no one knows what that means. Here are some excerpts from his memoirs on Nadine taken from the blog. We have still not been able to decipher what they all mean.
Dr. Masters: Gro, this is the 2nd or 5th best blog ever written since blog record keeping began.
Wunderkidcayman: It is going to hit us as a Cat 5.
Levi32: Definitely going to hit Texas, just look at
the MJO.
GeoffreyWPB: It is going right over my house. (Incidentally, GeoffWPB eventually purchased Intellicast and became the wealthiest person in the country.
PensacolaDoug: It's all Al Gore's fault.
TropicalAnalyst13: I still say it is going to hit
the Azores. (And shut up Kori)
pottery: If you could spell, it certainly would
help the cause.
weather98: Is that an eye?
GeorgiaStormz: Of course that's an eye probably
Cat 2 by now.
Neapolitan: This could all be caused by AGW.
Tazmanian: Keep on topic or be banned.
KEEPER OF THE GATE: Fog sneaks in like little
frogs feet; return to shroud
the mysteries of life. (The
exact meaning of this remains
unknown.)
wxchaser97: Cody, stop being so stubborn, Nadine
is not a Cat 3 yet.
etwx: Why are we talking about Nadine when it is
snowing in Alaska?
Patrap: People are strange where you're a
stranger..... (still being studied for
meaning. It seems this blogger often wrote
in code known only to a few.
Koritheman: I just wrote a new blog if anyone is
interested. Nadine should be gone in
two days. (And nobody cares TA)
Chicklit: Have a nice day everybody. (It would
appear this blogger had a genuine
concern for others on the blog. Always
kind and friendly.)
washingtonian115: I don't care about Nadine, I
want snow.
Addendum 1:
MAWeatherboy: But, somebody just posted that. I
can either agree or disagree with
it. I'll know when I see the TWO at
5.
AussieStorm: Because the storms go in the opposite
direction in the Southern Hemisphere,
Mate. What do they teach you in
those American schools.
Picatso:
Slamguitar: It didn't look obscene to me.
CyberTeddy: Hey, how many times are you going to
post the same thing. We get the
picture. I say Nadine will
dissipate. Nothing to see here, folks.
GTcooliebai: You think that wave coming off Africa
will interfere with Nadine? Looks
potent.

Ya know, Ya ain't quite right!
Sometimes I worry about you.
Just think Snake, we are to them what the World War I veterans were to us. Did that make your day??? LOL
ROFL, it did, it was the perfect cartoon!
I must admit of course that at the age of 65,
I do not do this sort of thing anymore. :)
In the Afghan mountains in winter, you'd be glad to be wearing all that stuff and then some.
In summer...not so much.
(I don't think your M16s had an adjustible stock or heavy barrel either. And leave it to a Ranger to wade through the swamp when there is a perfectly good boat right behind him. Maybe some things never change)
:o)
LOL
Nite Buddy!
I am not certain, but I think he can do the same pose as pictured above. However, this pose would be conducted a little closer to the ground now, or on an unseen glass table top. ... The haircut would probably still be the same.
Of course it was his movie.
That would have been tacky.:)
