I do believe raising the anemometer up the 4 feet from where it was has made a big difference in wind directions. Previously it did seem to be more east west that I saw. Now I'm getting from all around. Also it seems the new station has a bit more resolution. At least another decimal place.

It's up and running. An Oregon Scientific WMR-200A. I only have the basics for now on this Temp, wind, rain and barometer. I may get the UV Sensor eventually.

Well the anemometer finally failed on the wmr-968 station. The don't make the station anymore and I can't find a replacement part so I'm ordering a new station. Probably have it up in a week or two depending on the weather.

After that period of time that I had the old data logger this week just proved to me that the new data logger upgrade was worth it.Previously every time I had any kind of power fluctuation I needed to go check the old logger to see if it needed to be restarted.Just las week they had to shut down power to the entire city because the power pole the main feeder line coming into town got hit by a car.Once power was restored, the new logger started right up on it's own a...
