Yep, was snowing and sleeting again here in the southland after temps in the upper seventies just two days ago. That's what I like about Arkansas! We have such a variety of wx events we never get bored with the same-ole'-same-ole'.

Temps are in the sixties with heavy rain at times. I suppose this makes it tough on the utility crews still trying to restore power to a lot of Northeast Arkansas. I think there are still around 9,000 customers without power in Clay, Craighead, and Greene Counties.

Today is January 31, 2009. Yesterday I was dodging tree limbs and large icicles and today wearing a tee-shirt! Good 'ole Arkansas WX. As we here in the state say, "If you don't like the weather just stick around a day or two. Something will surely come along that you will like."

This shot, while not a great pix, was taken around 23:00 tonight, January 26, 2009. If the drizzle continues I will have tree limbs on the ground by morning. I just hope the power-lines stay up. I'm all electric here!
