This summary and the daily postings are now posted on the Sonrisanet webpage usually by 8:30 MDT daily.

The following is from my daily ham radio Report

Voice to Text……….
.Looking down into the Sea with both the water vapor images and the IR image I can’t see any clouds at all.
Looking south to the Riviera I can’t see any clouds along the west coast of Mexico either.
Looking further south to the Tehuantepec where the Tehuantepecker is now showing sustained winds of 40-50 knots with 50-55 knot gusts. Storm warnings have been posted until later today then the winds are forecast to dip below gale force into tomorrow.
Looking now to the ITCZ where there is still a lot of convection between 140- and 150 however the jet has weakened and the plume heading toward the Great Northwest is now a shadow of its former self.
That’s about it for our hood so looking north now to the west coast of America where Oregon and Washington have been inundated with heavy rain causing most rivers in both states to rise to flood stages. This amount of rain has resulted in soil instability and an increased risk of landslides. Cumulative rainfall over the last three weeks have soaked soils to the point where that are above the U.S.G.S landslide index.
Rain is forecast today from the upper Sacramento valley to the Canadian border. In this image I can see the entire Sacramento
Valley blanketed with Heavy tulle fog.
Dense fog advisories have been issued along the coast form San Francisco south to southern California this morning.
Southern California should see another warm day today that will be followed by cooling Tuesday and Wednesday.
Looking over to the southwest now where record or near record temps will continue today. Tucson is forecast to hit 83 degrees this afternoon. Wednesday temps will begin to cool as the jet stream drops south. A weak system will cross southern California and Arizona late Wednesday through Friday bringing mostly cloudy skies and the possibility of a few rain showers. The cooler but seasonable temps will remain into the weekend though more sunshine will be likely.
Back on this side of the border it looks like today will become a Chamber of Commerce day with very moderate winds and lots of sunshine.

As a sidebar: There will be a total eclipse of the full moon on the 21st of this month. The total eclipse should be visible to anyone in Baja. The event should start around 11: 00 in the evening and last about 72 minutes.

Don't chisel these forecasts in stone. This is an Amateur Endeavor. They, however, are normally very close.
