.Well it looks like yesterday afternoon and evening there was a number of thunderbumpers in the sea. It looks like La Paz had last evening. Cabo did not report any rain, and there is currently not a reporting station up and running in La Paz so I don’t have a real good look at what is going on there. I’m thinking a great place for a Wunderground weather station is on Zulu Golf’s porch. I’ll have to talk to him about that.
I can see some isolated fluffys here and there around the sea, and with all this moisture in the air, I’m thinking we will most likely be seeing these thumpers this afternoons in all the places that we normally see them. Late Yesterday afternoon we had some thumpers rumbling around back behind the beach. We actually got a few drops of rain. Interesting I could see some heavy rain falling along the peninsula and back bay, but alas only a sprinkle or two here.
Moving south to the Mexican Riviera this morning. Well it was thunderbumper city there yesterday, last night and this morning. I can see a large cell breaking up between Los Mochis and Mazatlan. I can also see no less than 5 very active cells building from Manzanillo to Acapulco. All of these cells are off shore. I would not be surprised if they all merged into one cell later this morning. There is even a parade of tropical waves advancing into the area as well as a low developing down by Acapulco this morning. The National Hurricane Center is mentioning these but has not hinted that any tropical cyclones will develop. So I’m not going to second guess the National Weather Services computers. So it looks like nothing tropical is going to develop in the basin for at least the next 48 hours.
With that looking now over at the west coast of the Baja peninsula. It looks like the marine layer is now heavy fog bank from Turtle Bay to Eureka this morning.
Taking a look now at the west coast of America. Sort of same-O same-O for the west coast. There is that weak low moving into Southern California. The Great Basin has clear skies and will be hot and dry this weekend. The southwest perhaps a thunderbumper or two as moisture moves up from Mexico, and they will start to see some cooler temperatures.
Back down here it should be just like yesterday. Light winds. Temperatures in the mid 90s. Starting about now you will start to see some decline in the sea temperatures. And as I mentioned a good probability that you will see a thumper or two this afternoon. Some with black bottoms some without.
73s y’all

Don't chisel these forecasts in stone. This is an Amateur Endeavour. They, however, are normally very close.
