Satellite / Summary Report from this mornings Ham Radio Forecast

.Well looking down into the sea this morning it looks like yesterday we did not have any big thunderbumpers but a lot of fluffys with dark bottoms all up and down the Baja peninsula and the Baja east coast. The cape yesterday started off with some sprinkles from Cabo to around the corner to La Venatana. Don’t know about La Paz. If La Ventana got a sprinkle there was a good chance that La Paz had one as well. This morning this image is not showing any big fluffys along hugging the coast like yesterday morning, however I think that this afternoon we should see more of these fluffys around the sea with probably a shower or two.
Looking south now to the Mexican Riviera. Most locations reported at least a trace of rain in the past 24 hours. Not a lot of the high top thumpers along the Riviera yesterday and last night. Mostly just fat wet cumulous, fluffys like the sea. I can see some thunderbumper activity south around Acapulco. They do not have a “live” station there so I don’t know the rain totals, however it has been raining there just about every day.
Looking further south to the Tehuantepec. Lots of thunderbumper activity all the way across the ismass, including the bay. As I mentioned earlier 40K winds showed up on the qscatt image and they are forecast to have steady 20K winds all day.
Looking a bit further south to the ITCZ. I can see a lot of convection around 10N and one tropical wave out about 120. I can see a couple of more waves moving across the Gulf of Mexico, heading out way. These guys are the most likely to develop into something cyclonic. Too early to forecast, so it’s a waiting game. The National Hurricane Center is saying the next 48 hours should be no tropical cyclones in either the Atlantic or the Eastern Pacific Basin. This is good.
Ok looking now back to Baja along the west coast of the peninsula. I can see a little fog around Mag Bay and to the north at Turtle Bay heavy fog extending inland quite a ways but not a lot to the north of the bay. I can see a fairly thick bank from Ensenada to San Diego this morning.
Ok taking a look now at the west coast of America. It looks sort of overcast along the entire west coast this morning. I can see that big honking low moving in from the Pacific heading for the Great Northwest this morning. This will be a rain producer for them this weekend.
The rest of the western conus is pretty much cloud free this morning. Oh up in Idaho I can see some rain in the mountains there this morning, but the rest of the basin is pretty much cloud free.
There is still some residual moisture in the Southwest so it looks like Arizona and New Mexico will see a thunderbumper or two today and tomorrow. Temperatures should warm a bit in the southwest today.
Back down here we should be seeing some warmer temperatures today. If for no other reason to catch up with our monthly averages. We are about 2 degrees cooler this September than last. I’m thinking we still might have a few 95 degree days left in the month. Our September average is 92.6 and so far this month we are averaging 91 degrees.
OK for today: Fluffys during the day. Probably a bit more sun than yesterday. Temperatures to warm a bit. Winds will be moderate and thermally driven and should have a northern flow.
73s y’all

Don't chisel these forecasts in stone. This is an Amateur Endeavour. They, however, are normally very close.
