After the Sonrisa Weather it’s back to work.

The following is from my daily ham radio Report

Voice to Text……….
.Looking down into the Sea this morning: If there are any clouds in the Sea this image is not showing them.
Looking south to the Riviera: the only place that has any clouds at all is around Manzanillo where a narrow plume of clouds is moving up from an area of convection along the ITCZ about 110. They could see some clouds with dark bottoms today and perhaps even a sprinkle of two.
Looking at the ITCZ this morning, with the exception of that area at 110, there is not a lot of convection along 10 north this morning.
Glancing over to the Tehuantepec: It appears that all is quiet there this morning.
Nothing cooking in the tropical kitchen either this morning. Rick was a very impressive himicane. Category 5 for a while. After passing south of the cape it made a direct hit on Mazatlan. The real-time reporting station there reported 69 mph winds at 8am on Wednesday then slowly declining to flat 4 hours later around 2pm. I have not heard any damage reports yet.
This was most likely the last tropical storm of the season. The folks with the PhDs and the Cray computers at the National Hurricane Center are about ready to pack it in for the season.
One final look around and I can see the water vapor imagery is showing the Eastern Pacific Basin to be virtually dry right now.
Ok, looking north now to the west coast of America where, of course, the Great Northwest is getting wet this morning with a nice low trough moving through the area.
For the rest of the western conus high pressure centered in the pacific will bring clear skies and warmer days. Southern California can expect fog along the coast.
For the southwest, for at least the next week that high pressure will result in dry conditions and a modest warming trend with daytime highs four to seven degrees above the normal’s. The overnight lows will remain chilly.
Back down here in Baja: We will be seeing mild northerlies today with the exception of the Sonoran coast around Guaymas where it will be a bit gusterly. In fact it looks like the next couple of days we will be seeing very moderate winds. Daytime temps will be in the mid 80s today. Overnight lows will continue to dip a little. Abundant sunshine is in store for the entire Sea and most of the Riviera today.

Don't chisel these forecasts in stone. This is an Amateur Endeavor. They, however, are normally very close.
