NEW: 3 DAY WINDS FORCAST ON THE WEBPAGE

The following is from my daily ham radio Report

:
Voice to Text……….
.Looking down into the sea this morning it looks like that long moisture plume of the Pineapple Express that extends from southwest of Hawaii to northern California is still sending some debris moisture into the northern sea again this morning. Water vapor imagery and the 24 hour loop indicated that no rain fell in the northern sea and that will most likely be the case today with just a mix of whispys and fluffys as far south as perhaps Santa Rosalia today.
The rest of the sea is pretty much cloud free this morning. Looking over at the Mexican Riviera I can’t see any clouds along Mexico’s west coast this morning either.
Looking south now: first to the Gulf of Papagayo where the 20 knot winds should continue to increase to 20-25 today and into tomorrow.
The Tehuantepec gap will reach gale force winds later today and storm force winds tonight. Tomorrow and Tuesday the winds will remain at gale fore velocities.
Looking back north now to the West Coast of America where a major storm will slam into California and Oregon today. The plume of the Pineapple Express is feeding directly into this low system and the storm is packing a lot of moisture. Heavy rain from about La La Land to the Canadian border with snow forecast at the higher elevations. The National Weather Service said that torrential rain is likely in some locations and flooding of small streams, rivers and low lying areas are likely. Debris and mud slides are possible in central and southern California. The National Weather Service has also issued advisories for folks living near small streams to monitor the rising water levels.
This storm will impact the west coast all day today and tomorrow. I can see another low working its way down the Aleutians and rain, albeit lighter, rain is forecast for the rest of the week for central and northern California, Oregon, and Washington.
Back down here most of the sea will be seeing abundant sunshine today. Temperatures in the central sea will be in the high 70s today and low 80s around the cape. And it looks like we should be having about a week of very pleasant weather and winds.
