Voice to Text---
.Looking down into the Sea this morning I can see that that moisture plume is still with us and the Sea will continue to see high whispys with a heavy mix of fluffys today.
All this cloudiness is coming from convection building along the ITCZ/Monsoon trough. Water vapor imagery is showing the plume to be multi layered with the lower portion packing a lot of moisture so we will probably see some of the fluffys with dark bottoms. The clouds are much thicker than they have been in the past 24 hours.
Looking south to the Mexican Riviera where they will be seeing some of this plume from the southern crossing south to Cabo Corrienties today.
Again today the plume is scattered and broken with patches of sun mixed in with the fluffys and whispys.
Further south the Gulf of Tehuantepec is quiet this morning and should remain quite into mid week when the next wind event is forecast to take place.
That’s what is going on in our hood so looking now north to the west coast of America where the storm door remains open for Oregon and Washington this morning with more valley rain and heavy snow on tap for the central Cascades today.
Northern California will be drying out until Wednesday when the next system currently in the Gulf of Alaska is due to move into California. Big time tulle fog is the issue this morning with the California Delta and Sacramento valley socked in.
Southern California will remain dry, a bit gusterly and foggy along the coast and some inland valleys today though Tuesday. The next chance of some rain will be Wednesday evening or Thursday as that Alaskan cold front moves through the state.
Looking over to the southwest where they will have mainly clear skies and dry conditions with above normal temperatures through today. A weather system will arrive along the Arizona/ New Mexico border Sunday night bringing the best chance of showers in the higher elevations late Sunday into Monday. Next chance will be late in the week when the next system is forecast to move out of California.
That’s what is going on to the north of us. Back on this side of the Fence very pleasant weather is still in the forecast for this weekend. Monday will see a significant change in the weather starting with strong NW winds.
But for the northern Sea today and tomorrow ballpark 15 or less from the NW and then Monday the entire northern Sea should see around 25 knot gusts.
The Central Sea today and tomorrow: Light to moderate NW winds picking up to around 25 on Monday.
The southern Sea, La Paz and the East Cape will continue to see light to moderate NW winds through tomorrow then around 19 knots on Monday.
The Mexican Riviera will continue to see light, mostly NW winds over the 3-day forecast period with only Cabo Corrienties picking up to around 15 knots on Monday.
The outside passage will continue to see moderate NW winds for the entire passage for the next three days.
Temperatures in the central and southern Sea will be in the high 70s today. The Mexican Riviera mid 80s.

73s Y’all
