BACK ON MONDAY 11/19 I’m pitting for the Mastercraft team’s #30 Trophy Truck in the Baja 1000 this week.

Voice to Text---
.Looking down into the Sea this morning I can see some mostly whispys passing over the southern end of the peninsula that are coming from a large are of convection West of the cape out about 120. It looks like from time to time both the central and southern Sea will see a few of theses clouds from this area but mostly sunshine.
Looking south to the Mexican Riviera where the coast is pretty much clear this morning.
Further south at the Tehuantepec the strong northerlies in the Gulf will diminish today and tonight but return Monday and be back to gale force by Monday night. Might as well keep the gale advisories up for the weekend.
The ITCZ/Monsoon trough is not quite as active as it has been for the past week, just some scattered thunderbumpers working out to around 130 this morning.
That’s what is going on in our hood so looking now north to the west coast of America where looking up at this top of this image I can see the storms lined up out in the northern Pacific, the Gulf of Alaska and along the Aleutian islands. The next week will see these arrive one by one starting today in the Great Northwest and probably around Wednesday for the rest of the west coast.
Meantime in the wake of the departing low high pressure is building over the west. By tomorrow afternoon the bar over the 4 Corners will be around 1040. Tomorrow the high will start to decay by Wednesday the bar should be around 1024.
Many locations along the west coast had freeze advisories posted this morning from San Francisco to San Diego.
It will be cold over in the southwest as well this morning. The sunrise Temperature in Tucson was 38. It should worm up to around 60 today. Hard freeze advisories have been issued for many counties in Arizona this morning. Tuesday it should start to warm back up again with slightly above average temperatures for the later part of the week. It should remain dry as most of the storms are forecast to pass to the north of SW Arizona next week.
That’s what is going on to the north of us. Back on this side of the Fence we will have strong winds in the Sea today and tomorrow diminishing on Tuesday
The outside passage will see the strongest winds today around Cedros Island and inside of Turtle Bay. The rest of the week the entire should see moderate winds from the NW.
The northern Sea today: NW winds in the 22-26 knot ranges today diminishing a bit tomorrow and ballpark 20 on Tuesday.
The central Sea from around San Franciscito bay south to Puerto Escondido ballpark 30 knot winds this afternoon and tomorrow diminishing to around 20 on Tuesday.
The southern Sea, La Paz and the East Cape should see the high 20s today, low 20s tomorrow and diminishing to the high teens on Tuesday.
Long range, it looks like the rest of the week should see moderate northerlies.
Most of the sunrise temperatures were down as much as 10 degrees from yesterday morning. Today highs in the northern and central Sea will be in the mid to high 70s. The southern Sea high 70s to the low 80s today.

73s Y’all
