Voice to Text---
.Looking down into the Sea this morning first with the 24 hour loop. I can see that yesterday afternoon the entire state of Sonora was one big thunderbumper. Not a MCS but perhaps 20 or more large thumpers all lined up along the state. The water vapor imagery is showing the flow due north as far as Phoenix with just a few thumpers encroaching into the Sea.
This activity continued until late in the evening and has been on the wand since midnight. The water vapor imagery is also showing most of the moisture in the area is over Sonora.
Yesterday here in the cove from early morning until last evening there were thumpers back in the mountains I could hear the thunder all morning and in the afternoon the clouds thickened and the activity increased. No rain here though. Even though the IR imagery did not show any thumpers working along the east coast of Baja I’d imagine there were some as yesterday had a lot of moisture in the air.
This morning’s IR images are showing the Sea to pretty much clear of any clouds. There are bound to be some fluffys here and there that this image can’t see but it looks like we will be have sunshine today.
Looking south to the Mexican Riviera where I can see a cell building from around Puerto Vallarta to Mazatlan. It’s half on land and half in the Sea. By 7am it was about the same.
The rest of the Riviera had a few thunderbumpers that quickly dissipated and the coast is pretty much clear this morning.
Again this morning we have nothing cooking in our Tropical Kitchen and there is nothing in the forecast, not even a Tropical Wave headed our way. It’s like the basin is prepared for a party and nobody is showing up.
That’s what is going on in our hood so looking now north to the west coast of America where there is not much gong up there but kids going back to school under mostly clear skys and seasonal warm temperatures that have been that way for a week.
Southern California could see some thumpers back in the mountains and deserts from moisture moving up from the south. Temperatures in the southland remain in the low to mid 80s today.
Looking over to the southwest where the monsoon will continuing monsooning. Lots of wet unstable air in the region. They can expect afternoon and evening thunderbumper today with increased activity expected during the weekend.
That’s what is gong on to the north of us. Back on this side of the Fence the northern Sea is forecast to have light to moderate NE over the 3-day forecast period. The Sonoran side with a western flavor.
The central Sea light to moderate ENE today and tomorrow and the light southerles on Sunday.
The southern Sea much like the central Sea with light northerlies today and tomorrow swinging to the south on Sunday.

Temperatures should inch up a degree or two today and continue to be in the mid 90s.
