In Memory of Sally Ride

As a young girl I had very few women role models that made science into something cool, a place where smart girls become doctors, scientists, astronauts.
Then came Sally Ride.

She did what she wanted to do. She embraced being smart, goal oriented and tough enough to have the right stuff. She reached for the stars and touched them. She was a woman of few words so this tribute is for her.

I put this in LC's blog too: When I was in school - not really that long ago, I did a report on Sally Ride, for a few reasons. 1) I love learning about successful woman who have done great things!
