Ah yes, Valentines Day is fast approaching. I love this holiday because it's a chocolate fest.
In our house, Valentines Day is February 15th because that is the 1/2 price chocolate holiday. Who cares about the 14th. Everything is over priced.
With our work schedules we celebrate on a day thats conveniant. The 14th is actually conveniant this year, but swag comes on the 15th.
Everyone has their own way to celebrate. It's all good as long as both sides are happy...but beware guys, if your wife or girlfriend says "Don't make a fuss or get many anything" That is girly girl speak for "Buster, if I don't get flowers, a mushy card and dinner, at the minimum, you sir are toast".
Anyhow, I thought a blog full of love songs would be fun. Or if your not feeling it, go ahead and post "Love Stinks" by Huey Lewis and the News.

When I was at the garden centre today I saw some Lindt chocolate and thought of you. But there were some flavours I had never heard of before.
I took photos on my phone but haven't downloaded them yet.... I will tomorrow morning so you can see.... but how about "chilli" flavour or even "Sea salt" !!!

It is Thurwedsday for those on the four day stretch of a compressed work week.
Seems the Universe has been sending a message loud and clear; "Step away from the chocolate box" All the usual half price candy stores only had cruddy chocolates in abundance. No Lindt, not even Russel Stovers. So, why bother. If it's not something I really like why eat it.
Especially considering I had to buy a larger pair of jeans. The putting weight back on thing has been very successful lol. Why can't all goals be that fun and easy?
Anyhow, have to run off to the batcave so a quick howdy and thanks for visiting to Sandi, Prose, Ylee, Sp, Karen and Briarcraft.
Ps. The Daisy song was one of my favorites as a kid. Used to sing it loudly, happily, and quite badly. Still do sometimes.
Perhaps you wouldn't be so tempted if there were only these two flavours!

Hi Sandi, I have tried the Chilli Lindt. Chocolate with chiles has been a foodie rage lately. It tastes like regular chocolate until you swallow. Then you feel warmth down the back of your throat all the way to your belly. Some people seem to enjoy this. To me it feels like heartburn. Oh well, innovation can be good so I will continue to try the "new" stuff and see if there is a new winner.

Hi Ylee, Done for the week. Now it's the 4day weekend that follows the 4 day work week. Plan on making the house pretty. That does take energy so more chocolate should be okay.
Just saw your note at Sandi's about your soggy shoes. We got 2" - amazing. Now, we need some more. And more. And... Greedy, much? I just keep thinking about what's going to happen when summer hits and those 90 degree temps and blazing sun start slurping up what water we've gotten. Well, and the news stories about the 5.5 million trees lost sort of focus the attention, too.
It's windy and cool here, but nice. The bluejays are going crazy, singing and calling. Could it be the pecans I've put out? I imagine there are bluejays twelve blocks away that are getting the word - "She's feeling generous this morning!"
I am envious of your sprung daffodils! :)
