Calm, overcast, appears to be attempting to clear, remains to be seen which side will win as there is a possiblilty of snow in the forecast, -5C temp. A draft from NNW, just enough to move the flag.

Uneventful trip coming and going, no strangers on board, a great chance to visit with neighbours for the 90 minute crossing. Weather ideal for ferry travel did not move at anytime during the crossing.

Stores changing over to spring requirements in a big way. No sign of winter things unless it is on the sale rack.

Fuel price down this week $1.04/litre, CAD at par with USD.

Good morning!

It looks to be a very nice day down here, though maybe a bit cooler than what we've been seeing most of the week. Jackets felt good in the a.m. but by midday, it was shirtsleeve weather.

Was able to gas up the truck at Walmart last weekend at 2.77 a gallon. It was 2.79 but with my Walmart gift card (which I use as a gas card), I get 3 cents off the regular price. I don't drive out there just to get gas (it's a bit down the road) but I usually make a run every 2 weeks or so, to pick up misc. items, so always top off the tank while there. Hubby thinks it's silly, just for 3 cents but I say, "3 cents here and 3 cents there, add up over time!"

Hope ya'll all have a great Saturday!
