Overcast, a hint of snowflurries, visibility not a problem. Wind swinging to the north a precursor to the cold temps for next week. Current temp -3C, expected to go down as the day moves along.

A raft of waterfowel only sign of life in the harbour this morning. Have been a few more ducks this past week or so. Did notice that daylight starting to peek in a little earliar in the AM, can really notice the extended light in the western sky at sunset.

Kids under the roof last night, no visitors for a change or sleepover for them. Everybody taking a breather it seems like not a bad idea for sure.

Things appear quiet in the community, scalloping and off shore lobster fishing in the fishing area.

The rain took the snow down in the woods, will rebuild some of my ATV road. Did manage to get a couple of loads out yesterday, thank goodness for winch on the machine. Managed to get the load stuck twice when trailer off the track into the unfrozen bog.

Howdy! A nice sunny day here but still rather cool. We'll get freezing temps again tonight but it will warm up a bit after that.

Rain will return tomorrow and stay with us most of the week. We've had about 3" here at the house, since Wed. night.

The golfers better take advantage of the clear skies today!
