Overcast with a threat of something from the sky, has not decided will be snow or rain. Temp at the freezing mark, wind from east @15-20KPH, this is the weather for the next couple of days.

Plowed snow yesterday for a couple of hours, sure beats the manual method. The plow a great accessory nice to know it works, but something used sparingly would be just fine.

Rob out overnight, weather permitting the property will become a warzone later on today. Softair guns have been called into action, however doubtful the weather will co-operate for them.

One brtoher will be heading for Myrtle Beach no later than tomorrow, probably sooner so he can south of the weather maker entering the region. Weather looking good down that way.

Evening Bugs, sounds as if you folks are doing well this festive season. The first contingent to your area is leaving in the mornling, but waiting till daylight to get on the road. The weather not the best a mix of rain and snow, as it cools will be lots of black ice to contend with in the darkness not a good thing. His plan is to be in your area on New Years Day.

Household quiet after the big day, but all hands getting a second wind. We are taking advantage of the 'quiet time' as it presents itself.

Sounds like your Christmas was a nice one. Ours was pretty quiet. I'll be headed up the road next weekend, with my brother, for a belated Christmas with our Dad, SMom, aunt and uncle. Hubby only had the one day off, so it was not very conductive to doing a 6 hour round trip for a couple of hours' visit.

Your brother will run into some chilly weather (for us, anyway!) down here next week. Lows in low/mid 20's or low 30's are forecast for Tues/Wed/Thurs. Possible heavy rain, prior to that, tomorrow.

I see in the paper this morning, that they expect gas prices to reach as high as 3.75 USD before summer. OUCH!

A personal snowplow? That's definitely a nice toy to have! Leaf blowers or those bag attachments for mowers are the equivalent, down here. Riding mowers, as well, are much appreciated here, by those with large yards. We make do with a self-propelled push mower, with our small yard. Hubby uses it in the early fall, to mulch up leaves. Once the sweet gum balls start dropping, he has to revert to manual raking.

Hope your weekend is a good one!

Good morning Rob

Well, I checked myself out when I got up this morming and I seem to be all here (phisically anyway) so I must have survived the storm.

Yesterday was something else - high winds, snow, blowing snow and white outs. Just about everything was shut down on the avalon.

I spent most of yesterday shovelling the driveway. I had to do it four times. When I looked out the front window this morning the snow plow went by sometime during the night and there is about a twelve foot wide, two foot high pile of snow in my driveway. So later this morning I will be shovelling again.

Sorry I never got to send you a greeting yesterday but just as I was going to start, we lost the internet. So I sat down with a beer (or two, or three ......) and watch a bowl game, hockey game and a basketball game. So the night wasn't a total loss *S*.

Hope all is well and that you have an enjoyable Saturday.
