Windy this AM and overnight, 35KPH with gusts to 55KPH from SW. Temp much warmer than yesterday at 4C, a possibility of showers before the day is out.

Butch seems better, no consultation with physcian as yet. More tests today to determine what is going on. Lots of people travelling caught up on local news from other perspectives - probably referred to as gossip in some segments of society, but men never engage in such activity.

Skateboard park in the yard up to eight boys of all ages yesterday. Now requesting more gear to set up, had to say no as we do have vehicle coming and somewhat like drivers test getting in the yard now.

Al an impressive action, these fellows would like to change over to snowboard, as you know that is not possible right now.

Have heard some god awful thumps out there in the darkness, but no calls for assistance as yet. Had to get the music turned down even if we are somewhat isolated the music was being shared for quite a distance.

A couple of teenage boys with the crowd, and doing well by the younger boys. Great to see, and the younger fellows just glad to be in thier presence.

Good morning to you and Happy Friday!

Looks like you are getting ready for the weekend! Oh yes, remember when my son was big on skateboarding... which goes along with broken bones and torn skin! LOL Don't know which was worse, Stakeboarding or BMX bike racking (catching air and doing flips on a bike over a dirt hill, hummmm) sure glad that boy has made it to 32 years old and has 2 boys of his own now! LOL

Have a great weekend!

Hello Rob,
Sometimes the rumor mills take over and distort the facts. That's one of the reasons I prefer to hear the facts from the source. Our little town here thrives on 'embellished facts' LOL.I pay no attention to any of it.
My kids were into skateboarding when they were younger.God knows what all they did for tricks but I saw a few busted boards and the associated scrapes and bruises! They graduated to snowboarding eventually...when we had snow, that is.I don't know if this will link or not,but here's a pic I took of one of them doing his thing a couple of years ago:

Good Morning Rob
Those sk8 boards certainly keep the kids entertained. We have a place here where a cold storage building burnt. The concrete floor is left and all summer its home for numerous sk8ers. The local Youth for Christ group had an indoor 1 set up in the old Campbell's Soup building for winter use but had to close it due to insurance costs.
Glad to hear men there are like the men here and leave gossip to the ladies.
