Another calm morning, clear, temp 13C looking for fine weather day, and most of the week.

Donna and girls returned with no problems, and managed to get a few stores visited prior to leaving Moncton. Marilyn should be just descending into Toronto at this time. She will be in Winnipeg around 10AM thier time, a full day ahead of her.

Rob had a buddy overnight, and for lunch yesterday BBQ'd a chicken and a half with a small porl loin, all gone. Cody thought it was pretty good, but didn't realize it didn't have to be black to be cooked - referring to his fathers efforts.

She must have been up before the birds to be in Winnipeg that early.
It looks like fall has arrived here and we're cooler than you now. Hopefully it will warm again.

Good morning my friend
I follow your post each day and find your dayily happings of interest. I spoke with my friends that live at eagle Lake near Dryden yesterday and they will be leaving canada today headed back to Florida for the winter. I see that the temperature there is down to 6 C. this morning. Jerry tells me that Eagle Lake level has dropped to critical lows this summer not because of rain but because the forest sercice has used huge amounts of water from the lake to fight forest dires in the area. When I left there in mid July the lake was normal pool levels. This much drop from July is hard for me to understand. Jerry indicated they had trouble getting their boat out of the lake as levels have dropped so much there are few useable boat ramps.

Houston is still hot, 36 C yesterday but cool front moving in presently with much needed rain.

Take care my friend.

Doug
